Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten Books I’ve Read So Far This Year

Top Ten Tuesday This week’s Top Ten Tuesday is a top ten of books I’ve read so far. Thankfully I have enough to choose from 😀 I think it has become an interesting list. Books I’ve rated five stars aren’t necessarily in the top ten… Sometimes a book is really good, 5-star-good, but I just enjoyed that 4-star book better.

Anyway, here goes!

Top Ten Books I’ve Read So Far This Year

  1. Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier
  2. Krabat by Otfried Preußler
  3. Ask the Passengers by A.S. King
  4. Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe by Benjamin Alire Sáenz
  5. How to Repair a Mechanical Heart by J.C. Lillis
  6. The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt
  7. Harmony by Project Itoh
  8. Hardboiled & Hard Luck by Banana Yoshimoto
  9. Restaurant of Love Regained by Ito Ogawa

    1. Absolutely! I wasn’t sure what to expect of Rebecca but the writing was gorgeous and the ambiance of the book was amazing. Thanks for the recommendation 😀

  1. This is the second time I’ve seen Ask the Passengers come up on this weeks Top Ten Tuesday posts. I’ve heard good things about A.S. King. I’ll have to check this one out!

Thanks for sharing! Here’s my Top Ten Tuesday post

      1. Good to know! I’ve been wanting to read one of her other books, Please Ignore Vera Dietz, for a while now.

    1. For me both Rebecca and The Goldfinch were pretty intimidating… but turned out great once I just started reading them haha.

I think I will actually remember the Odyssey this time around… I read bits of it during high school and didn’t remember much 😡
