LGBT Challenge & April 2014: LGBT Month

LGBT Challenge & April 2014: LGBT Month

This is going to be a double sign-up post!

LGBT Challenge LGBT Month

Cayce over at Fighting Dreamer is hosting the LGBT Challenge. The goal of this challenge is to read at least three LGBT themed books this year, between January 1 and December 31, 2014. Cayce is hosting a lot of fun happenings during this challenge, so check out the sign-up post!

Then in April, Fighting Dreamer and Laura Plus Books are together hosting LGBT Month. And we all know what a sucker I am for theme months 😉 Lots of cool things happening this month, and there will be a read-along! Check out the sign-up post!

Some books I hope to read during the event:

Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe Ask the Passengers The Last of the Wine Maurice

I’ve been wanting to read Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe ever since I heard about it. Same with Ask the Passengers. Then there’s The Last of the Wine, to fit in with my current mini-obsession with the Greek classics 😉 And Maurice I won during a previous lgbt themed event, The Literary Others, but I haven’t gotten around to it so this is a good opportunity!

I’m looking forward to the events. And let’s see if I discover some gems here and there!

  1. I just love this double sign up post! <3 And it looks like there's a good chance that we'll doing a Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe read-along in April – so yay~ I loved that book so, so much. I want EVERYONE to read (and LOVE) it. Ask the Passengers is a book that's been on my tbr faaaar too long. And Maurice!! I really want to read that one too (and then watch the movie). The Last of the Wine is new to me, but I'll look it up on Goodreads now 🙂

Good luck & happy reading! Oh, and don't forget to link it up here: http://nijiclovers.blogspot.com/2014/02/lgbt-challenge-2014-february-link-up.html too!

    1. All linked up now 😀

Yes I was hoping for Aristotle and Dante! Although I wouldn’t mind Two Boys Kissing or Will Grayson, Will Grayson either 😉

    1. I haven’t read anything by Renault yet 😉 But I gather you’re a fan so I’m sure I won’t be disappointed by my choice 😀
